Does Hollywood Really Do it Better?
Most speed dating parties are a bit like being at a football game. Complete with stop watches, whistles and a team captain yelling “times up” in your face! We at Speed Dating São Paulo, do things a bit differently. We don’t find anything romantic about name tags and whistles – so we don’t use them!  Speed Dating São Paulo events are chic, low key and no pressure.

Do you have to be a Hollywood star to attend?
Absolutely not! Some of our lovely staff may be from Hollywood but our daters are local singles just like yourself.

What type of people can I expect to meet?
We tend to draw a crowd that is intelligent and amusing, sophisticated and adventurous, while always being cheeky. The fact you’re reading about us, likely means they’re just like you. Daters that don’t like to settle and tend to set the trend rather than follow it. We are in part defined by our venues and our crowd reflects such.

What time should I show up for the Event? 
Please try and arrive a half hour prior to the published start time, to enjoy a complimentary glass of champagne and pre event “mingle.” The event can not begin until everyone has arrived. So please be on time!
What is a Speed Dating Sao Paulo ‘Ai Sim’?
A ‘Ai Sim’ means you have a match! You checked each other on your scorecards and your email address will be exchanged with this person 24 hours after the event.

How long will I chat with my Prospective ‘Ai Sim’?
Chat up your prospective 'Date-Mates' 6-8 minutes at a time. Sometimes, for our larger events, this may be shortened by 1 or 2 minutes to accommodate all of the mini-dates in a timely fashion.

Don’t worry. In today’s world we tend to know in a matter of minutes if we ‘click’ with someone. You can also chat further with your prospective ‘Date-Mate’ at intermission or mingle after the event. Just have fun and go with it!

How will I know I have any Speed Dating Sao Paulo ‘Date Mates’ and how do I contact my Speed Dating Sao Paulo ‘Ai Sim’?
You will be notified via email of your ‘Date-Mate’s’ first name and email within 24hours of the event ending. Your ‘Date-Mate’ will also receive your name and email.

Was it something I said?
90% of Speed Daters find a match at their first event. In the event that cupid’s arrow misfired the first time, we look forward to finding you a match at our next event.

What is a Speed Dating Sao Paulo Ice Breaker?
Cat got your tongue? Can't think what to say? No problem! Our Hosts will shower your table with endless opportunities to chat up a storm. Simply pick up one of the Ice Breaker cards placed strategically at your table and ask the question! If you don't feel like it, don't do it. It's up to you... but go on, I dare you!

What Should I Wear?
True Hollywood stars like to dress it up. However, dress how you feel. No riff-raff please.

I’m shy - Can I come with my Friends?
Bring your friends, have some fun! Our hosts will gladly accommodate seating for all ticketed members of your party. If you would like to be seated together please let us know.

How Many People Will I Meet?
Speed Dating Sao Paulo events vary in size, anywhere from 20-50 singles show up for a good time. This means that you can meet upwards of 10-25people in one night!

I Am Older or Younger than your age ranges – may I still attend?
Of course you may. Our age ranges are merely suggestions. We offer many age range categories. Please feel free to select the age range most comfortable for you. If you don’t see a range suitable for you please check back or let us know.

Can I pay/Register at the door? Register/Info Payment/Registration can be in person at our office up to 72 hours before the event. No late payments will be accepted at the door. This helps us guarantee the guest list and greatly reduces the risk of no shows. You qualify for a refund so long as you give us at least a 72 hour notice. Soon we will be accepting Credit Card payments via our online site. Sorry no checks.
